• Work mode: Hybrid (no mandatory on-site presence)

Key Responsibilities

Turning ambition into action

• Translate client requirements and business objectives into actionable procurement strategies.
• Define the procurement approach early in the pre-sales phase to maximize value creation.
• Challenge business requirements to enhance competitiveness and project performance.

Driving procurement execution

• Lead tendering activities: preparation, launch, management, evaluation, and supplier selection in a transparent and compliant manner.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and legal teams.
• Manage master contracts to protect the company’s interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensuring strategic alignment

• Steer procurement activities at each project milestone.
• Actively participate in project governance and steering committees as the procurement representative.
• Manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Developing supplier intelligence

• Collect technical and financial information on suppliers to anticipate long-term project impacts.
• Identify and select suppliers in collaboration with Category Managers.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and value.

Monitoring procurement performance

• Contribute to procurement performance reporting.
• Escalate issues efficiently and track savings to demonstrate procurement impact on project success.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree with specialization in procurement and/or contract management.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in project procurement within a relevant industrial sector.
• Solid experience in contract and claim management.
• Knowledge of FIDIC or NEC contracts is a strong asset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is an asset).
• Experience in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
