Context & Environment

In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.

Main Activities

Ø elaborate the daily plan of warehouse operations and follow up daily meetings of operations.

Ø Supervise and to do all tasks related to inbound and outbound shipments of the warehouse, such as receipt, identification, storage, ranging, preservation of the material within the storage areas.

Ø Be responsible and certify the correct management of material in compliance to COMPANY procedures of Material Management

Ø Certify, control and sign documentation of entry and exit of material from the warehouse.

Ø Register material movements on SAP and ensure 100% material traceability with SAP or other tools provided by COMPANY.

Ø Participate and propose improvement projects.

Ø Ensure that all transportation and the logistical chain downstream of the warehouse is efficient with the support of the superintendents .

Ø Ensure to always guarantee an elevated level of service for warehouse request while taking cost minimization for the COMPANY.

Ø Be a focal point for COMPANY technical units concerning material under his management;

Ø Control, propose and revise material descriptions, Part numbers and other information related to Material Master Data;

Ø Follow up the provision of equipment and tools needed for the correct functioning of the warehouse;

Ø Organize and plan the flow of materials and be responsible for the correct broadcast and archiving of warehouse documents The documents must be issued on time and in an expeditious manner. The documents are: GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Return Goods, Material OUT (Goods Issue), Transfer between store, Return from sites etc.

Ø Verify in all time the consistency between the theoretical data in SAP and the physical quantity of inventories.

Ø Ensure that correct stock management policies are in place for material under his responsibility.

Ø Issue reports and trace KPIs for materials under his responsibility.

Ø Responsible for the results of yearly inventories.

Mandatory Certifications or Diploma:

Ø higher professional education (preferably in Technical subjects)

Skills & Experience:

Ø at least 5 years of experience in warehouse or material management field preferably in O&G business

Ø Knowledge of API standards

Ø Working knowledge of English and French language

Ø Computer literate, particularly in the Office package, and familiarity in learning new software

Ø Expert in O&G materials

Ø Knowledge of SAP-like software and basics of accountability
