Responsibilities:
Reports to: Manager Facilities Engineering
Primary link between offshore and onshore for the EIT disciplines.
• Support the EIT technicians offshore with problem solving etc.
• Review all Work Orders trying try to ensure a stable workload for the technicians.
• Ensure correct statuses and start dates for Work Orders registered in the data system used for steering the activities.
• Give advice to stakeholders of how to prioritize different work tasks.
• Ensure that the right resources (personnel, equipment and tools), are available to execute all jobs in a safe matter.
• Contact point for external vendors of personnel and equipment, needed to perform daily operation.
• Review planned maintenance routines and carry out optimization studies within the discipline to minimize the cost of maintenance whilst retaining an acceptable level of plant and equipment reliability.
• Contribute to other disciplines work.
• Act as a key member of the onshore operation support team.
• Contribute to budget processes.
• Contribute to improve the LCI documents.
• Responsible to follow up cost according to budget within the EIT discipline.
• Have a proactive approach to find smarter way of how to run the maintenance / operation.
• Work in close cooperation with 2. Line support and TA.
• Contribute to the daily work of ensuring that the plant is maintained and operated in a safe way.
• Responsible to ensure that all documentation, maintenance programs and routines are updated if any mismatch is identified.
• Contribute in modification projects.
• Ensure all work performed within the discipline complies with Norwegian rules and regulations through all lifecycle phases. This includes internal personnel and contractors.
• Provide clarification of, and responses to, technical queries from the offshore site and generally within the onshore organization.
• Carry out offshore site visits as necessary.
Profile:
• Engineering Degree
• Minimum 8 years of experience and offshore experience preferred
