Responsibilities

  • Field operation - Desert environmentLead and supervise Well intervention operations (Slickline, E-line, Coiled tubing).
  • Lead and supervise Well testing operations (Well testing, DST, PVT sampling, Well unloading).
  • Lead and supervise Wellhead and X’mas tree maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Lead and supervise Completion installation (Drilling rig, Workover rig).
  • Fully understand about Well control.
  • Supervise Completion equipment preparation at Contractor facility and Company facility.
  • Organize and arrange for necessary equipment and materials to be shipped to Wellsite.
  • Ensure good communication with Completion engineer and other relevant parties regarding results / deviations from the original program.
  • Coordinate among Production, Construction, Well services, Drilling, Planning departments on each operation.
  • Able to expedite the operation under safe manner to maintain Objectives and Schedule.
  • Understand Risks & Hazards related to operations and work environments.
  • Lead and conduct Safety meeting, Hazard hunt, etc.
  • Understand Inventory system and Inventory management.
  • Able to work as Rotation at wellsite.

Reporting and paper works

  • Prepare and submit Daily operational report, End of well report, Well handover report, Wellhead & X’mas tree maintenance report
  • Prepare field investigation report and presentation
  • Able to review and evaluate Operational efficiency
  • Upon completion of jobs, thoroughly discuss job with teams to capture lessons learnt with respect to safety, health and operational aspects.
  • Review Contractor daily operation report and final operation report
  • Initial review Contractor ticket.
  • Prepare and issue out item from stock.

Experience and skills

  • At least 10 years experience in well services related activities (Slickline, Logging, Well Integrity, Well testing, Stimulation, Coiled Tubing, etc.) and Field exposure in Desert operation at least 5 years.
  • Extensive knowledge of Well services operations (Slickline, E-line, Coiled tubing) Equipment, Technology and Workflows.
  • Knowledge of wells (completion) and workovers equipment.
  • Knowledge of equipment requests and mobilization process.
  • Ability to make operational decisions based on analytical problem solving.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Commitment and passion for managing HSE.

Education

  • Mechanical Engineering / Petroleum Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent English, French and Arabic compulsory, good communication skills.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office: Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook).
  • Hold valid IWCF level 4 certificate.
