Key responsibility is to lead the implementation of a Process Safety Management System, from inception of project scope definition to full completion.
The Project scope covers a Process Safety Site Assessment Program and the Delivery and Implementation of a Prioritised Plan to Address Identified Gaps.
The Operational & Process Safety Readiness Lead coordinates the scheduling, execution, cost control, quality control, progress control and reporting, project accounting and administration activities involved in the project. The incumbent will supervise Contractor’s compliance with the Project Contract and its Scope.
The Operational & Process Safety Readiness Lead coordinates a team of Discipline Leads covering Integrity, HSE, Operations and Planning.
Role responsibilities cover but are not be limited to:
Ensure safety standards are used by site personnel. Ensure that the company’s HSE policy is effectively implemented and corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
Define the activity plan to meet the Project goals and ensure follow-up.
Participate in the preparation and follow-up of the budget for the Project.
Ensure onsite execution including continuous walks through of the facilities and raising any corrective action
Provide guidance and consultation for GRKF Administrators.
Supervise preparation of the project documentation.
Coordinate preparation of administrative procedures for the Project.
Verify the progress reports issued by the Contractor.
Prepare the monthly progress report for GRKF’s Management Committees.
Monitor the project scope and manage changes.
Supervise Contractor’s compliance with the Project Contract and its Scope.
Participate in meetings within GRKF’s Management Committees for the follow-up of the Project progress.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or related technical field.
15+ years of experience in Team Leading in the Oil & Gas Industry with relevant understanding of joint ventures environments.
Experience in Operations, Process Safety and Asset Integrity related projects.
Language Skills: Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Knowledge of French and Arab languages will be a plus.
