OLC principal’s tasks

Task 01 Perform all administrative activities related to his office job.

Task 02 Participate in all activities and operations related to security and site protection.

Task 03 Taking in charge of training and its associated concerns

Missions and activities of the position

Task 01: (administrative tasks)

  • Preparing, updating and send the daily state of POB personnel (on site & rigs) to direct SIE hierarchy.
  • Storing & updating officials document related to expatriates and ensuring their preservation and not publishing them except upon request from his direct SIE hierarchy.
  • Completing & sending of the monthly report including all activities such as escorts number, training & others actions to SIE CdG with keeping SIE coord informed (CC).
  • Provide a daily report (BRQ) to the direct SIE hierarchy.
  • Deputize SIE chef de groupe if requested.

Task 02: (operational tasks)

  • Organizing, following up and sending all expatriates escorts requests to both SIE CdG & and keep informed SIE coord.
  • Carrying out a daily security patrol around the site in order to report to direct hierarchy all failures in site as physical security measures and degradations of the commercial guarding team performance and compliance with procedures that do not meet minimum standards.
  • Ensure that emergency plans for evacuations & relocation for expatriates are updating and are in place.
  • Supervise all expatriate travel activities within the HBR field sites including the meet and see off passengers on internal field flights and ensure in conjunction with logistics staff that regulations for travel in the field are implemented in a systematic and timely fashion.
  • Participate in the various exercises & scenarios that take place within the site and raise the observed.

Task 03: (training& formation tasks)

  • Conduct Local Security inductions.
  • Be in charge of doings hostile environment training (HET) in accordance with GHBR plan.
  • Train and coach SIE CdG in order that he will be ready to assume a security coordinator role work with national & expatriates staff to build a shared understanding of security analysis and risk minimization.
  • Draw systematically all incidents on a dedicated map and provide timely analysis to identify emerging trends. ensure SIE staff adhere to the same process and share information accordingly.
  • Arrange and regularly reassess that vehicules, assets & equipment are compliant with safety and security is followed & respected
  • Ensure that communication systems are adequate and maintained and provide training to staff on the use of such equipment and communications protocols in conjection with IT teams.
