Generation and management of PO’s/ contracts in the Company ERP system, SAP.
RFP development, execution, evaluation, negotiation, supplier selection, and award recommendation in Company RFP system-Ariba.
Ensure that Procurement and Contracts procedures are adhered to for all purchases.
Sourcing of Materials and Equipment to support Logisitcs and Warehousing including Critical Spare Inventory replenishment:
Collaborate with warehouse personel to support MRP.
Source materials for MRP, maintain contract pricing in MRO providers.
Expedite MRP PO’s.
Accountable for key deliverables associated with Category planning, Strategic Sourcing and performance management of high impact material and service categories.
Prepare fact-based negotiations and execute contracts utilizing approved terms and conditions.
Incorporate internal and external data and trends to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing Category Plans, initiatives and studies.
Develop supplier scorecards and drive continuous improvement through active supplier management for assigned categories.
Develop, recommend and implement process improvement programs to:
Enhance internal and external working relationships.
Ensure teams share leading practices and lessons learned.
Utilize consistent methodologies.
Pursue deliverables that are aligned with corporate strategic objectives.
Understand and utilize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and category value/performance analysis.
Responsible for stakeholder engagement and management throughout the Category Management lifecycle.
Accountable for the Annual Contracting Plan and category strategy development.
Responsible for vendor qualification.
Identify leveraging/ vendor reduction opportunities for the Company.
Qualifications:
University degree (MBA preferred).
SCM designation considered an asset.
Experience with SAP and Ariba is preferred.
Software knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Knowledge of Upstream Oil and Gas operations.
10+ years in the Oil and gas industry or Supply Chain Management experience is required preferabely in Logisitics and Warehousing.
Strong Category Strategy development and strategic sourcing background.
Experience with Market Analysis.
Familiarity and understanding of Logisitics and MRO contracts.
Demonstrates application of project management skills and financial skills.
Demonstrates expertise in supplier performance management, negotiating and influencing strategy.
