Lead Process Engineer

Duration/Location

• Starting date: ASAP-August 2024
• Duration: 2-3 years months minimum
• Location: Dubai, then missions to Gabon (~6 months for start-up).
• Status: Residential

Activities

The role of LNG Lead Process engineer includes the following aspects:

• Support procurement of process packages such as cold box, air coolers, : bid evaluations, vendor documents review (during bid phase and during execution), fabrication follow-up
• Perform HYSIS Simulations including gas pre-treatment (AGRU, dehydration), liquefaction, boil-off-gas.
• Attend FAT/SAT.
• Perform Equipment sizing / development of process documentation such as PFD, PSD, MSD, P&IDs datasheets.
• Participate in process and project workshops: HAZID, HAZOP, 3D model review, etc.
• Support during construction and pre-commissioning. Address site queries.
• Assist for site commissioning and start-up as required.
• Participated in the liquefaction process.
• Purchased Cold Boxes, started them and knows how to use them.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Graduate Engineer (ideally process/chemical engineering)
• English speaking. French is a strong plus.
• 8 years experience minimum, with 5 years in LNG
• Experience in Oil&Gas or Process engineering company, Contrator/EPC or Oil&Gas operator
• Experience in Basic and Detailed Design, Vendor Follow Up, Construction Preparation for large project.
• Experience in precommissioning, commissioning & troubleshooting is a plus.
• Experience on past LNG / FLNG project or other Cryogenic system is a must.
• Team player - Proactive - Good problem solving and analytical skills - Excellent written and presentation skills
