Junior Sales Executive (Internship)

  • Start date: Immediate
  • Duration: 6 months – with the possibility of a permanent employee contract
  • Location: Altea Energy HQ office – Saint-Cloud, France
  • Reporting to: Sales Director


  • Develop new clients and bring in new sales whilst maintaining a high customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new customers and their needs
  • Cold calling as well as calling warmer leads
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Being knowledgeable about the industry sectors as well as the products and services offered by the business
  • Strong reporting and use of company CRM to keep records of leads, prospects, sales etc.
  • Provide after-sales support and build strong client relationships
  • Attending industry events as required to promote Altea Energy
  • Being aware of market trends and competitors
  • Provide support to sales team as and when required

Skills and qualifications

  • University level education
  • IT proficiency, especially MS-Office
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to build rapport, good people skills.
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure and multitask
  • Sales and business development skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Good team player whilst also being able to work independently when required
  • Target driven with a positive can do attitude
