Follow and improve the logistic procedure established within the logistic department regarding:
Operational activities in shops.
Stock management activities (of materials and equipment).
MRP activities (replenishment)
HSE standards related to the warehouse activity.
Lead the coordination of stock management activities with the departments (Drilling, Maintenance, Operations, Construction, Technical, EP, etc.) and the Material Services team, prioritising, planning and taking corrective and preventive action as necessary, ensuring compliance with all NRM procedures and national regulations.
Leads, supervises, coordinates, controls and develops the staff working under his/her authority. Proactively engages in finding solutions to daily operational problems with members of his/her work team.
Coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials (handling, collection and packaging) following stock management procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with dispatch and demand of materials.
Conduct periodic inventories to ensure the reliability of quantities and integrity of physical characteristics of the material and include the year-end inventory and corresponding adjustments in the system.
Manage and execute the planning and replenishment of materials (MRP) on a monthly basis, updating the parameters periodically in coordination with the Maintenance and Operations departments.
Catalogue items, record documentation related to receiving, shipping, transfers, etc. in the SAP system.
Ensure that all documentation is recorded and updated on SAP and in the physical files.
Manage stock effectively by minimising the level of tied-up stock.
Ensure that the operating contract with NRM partners is respected and enforced.
With the support of the HSE department, ensure the identification and mitigation of risks inherent in operational activities, including storage operations, with the aim of achieving 0 accidents as a primary objective.
Prepare specifications, technical and commercial documents, evaluation procedures for contracts related to stock management and storage activities and services, taking into account best practices.
Define, monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure stock management ensuring optimisation of resources (equipment and infrastructure), taking corrective and preventive action, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Define planning according to medium and long-term resource requirements.
Make budget estimates for inventory and storage activities and follow up monthly. Monitor the value of stocks and their evolution on a monthly basis.
10+ years of experience in inventory and warehouse management in remote or desert areas for the oil and gas sector.
Experience in HSE management, inventory management, warehouse administration, contractor management, budget administration and KPI’s.
Knowledge and experience in the administration of ERP software (SAP).
Language: French (mandatory) and English (desirable).
