Job Title Field HSEQ Superintendent

ReportsOnshore Field Manager

Contract Duration Minimum 6 Months (to be confirmed by operator upon selection)

Rotation28/28 in the field - several locations

Approximate Start October

You will be responsible for supporting and advising Drilling and Workover operation, special focus on Well Integrity and QHSE aspects aligning procedures with corporate requirements.

As a member of Well area Team you will be responsible for

  • Supporting and advising Drilling/Workover Rigs operation on HSEQ matters. Develop and align procedures with corporate requirements, champion continuous improvement activities and auditing, including, but not limited to, liaising with the certifying and other audit bodies during visits
  • Reviewing Drilling and Workover programs to ensure that operations are performed in accordance to Company’s procedures and considering each single operation with particular attention to well integrity and operational safety
  • Evaluating the need for services, equipment and material and providing for their request
  • Providing support to Rig Supervisors in the resolution of operational problems at well site, reporting any potential or actual well problems and advising remedial plans or corrective actions
  • Advising during Drilling/Workover execution any technical variation from approved scope, proposing the appropriate changes if necessary
  • Ensuring lessons learnt and related recommendations are captured and shared to allow for improvement of next operations
  • Ensuring daily visits at well site with particular attention to HSE aspects and equipment inspection
  • Liaising with HSE and Logistics functions to review lifting plans
  • Investigate and report unscheduled events, identifying root causes and ensuring application and remedial actions
  • Ensuring good communication with local staff.

1- Job Purpose

To ensure that all in-field activities and equipment are in accordance with HSE regulations, policies, standards and best practices, thereby assuring the safety of all personnel, Company assets and the environment.

2- Main Responsibilities

  • Assist Field Manager for HSEQ issues:
    • sign Work Permits
    • carry out hazard analysis of the site
    • provide briefing to newly appointed personnel and visitors
    • update the risk register,arrange for HSE of drilling activities
    • production wells and pipelines surveillance
    • ensure HSEQ statistics and reporting
    • ensure contractors performance monitoring.

  • Identification and assessment of HSE risks in all the project phases and related countermeasures.

5 - Qualification & Experience

Education

Secondary Level Technical Education / Engineering

Professional Qualifications

Accreditation in HSE Codes and CG accreditated HSE Auditor, mplementation of the HSE Management System in the field.

Training & Courses

  • Management skills basic course
  • HSE Advanced Course

Languages

  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • Intermediate knowledge of the local language preferred

Required Experience

  • 7 years of Oil & Gas ndustry experience
  • 5 years of HSE practice experience
