Responsibilities

• Design and implement new Trading processes,
• Support evolution of existing and new Trading led activities by in the case of

New initiatives:

1. Framing opportunities,
2. Guiding opportunity maturation,
3. Preparing go-no go decision support material,
4. Driving initiative readiness.

Existing initiatives:

1. Suggesting improvements,
2. Project managing initiative optimization (from a process and systems point of view).

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of (especially the Iberian) power market, very good understanding of the CWE power markets (market design, market players, supply/demand balances, regulatory trends…) and a vision for the evolution of the European energy markets (especially Spain).
• Excellent understanding of the EU ETS & voluntary Carbon Markets.
• In-depth knowledge of Trading processes.
• Experience with ETRMs, ideally Allegro.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision & guidance.
• Ability to present complex situation simply, still is cognizant of all the details.
• Jargon free communicator who has the ability to share his decision-making process clearly.
• Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with working in a utility or an industrial company or a consulting company with exposure to the utility / industrial sector. 
• High personal integrity. 
• Adherence with all company rules and policies.
• 3-7 years of experience in power trading. 
• Master / Bachelor Degree or similar in Business a quantitative discipline or Economics. 
• Fluency in English and at least some command of Spanish (and the willingness to learn more)
