We are pleased to announce that Altea Energy has successfully received global accreditation across all its entities for ISO 14001:2015 certification to help reduce its carbon footprint.
ISO 14001 is the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS), that is used to manage environmental aspects, fulfill compliance obligations, address risks and opportunities, and to drive continual environmental improvements throughout the entire organisation.
Altea Energy’s certification falls under UKAS accreditation. This provides an assurance of the competence, impartiality and integrity of conformity of assessment bodies, in this case Interface NRM. The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the sole national accreditation body recognised by the British government and is recognized as the gold standard internationally.
